Questions you will meet, answered honestly

Why this cause?

A real reason in two or three sentences. A personal connection is fine; you don't need a dramatic story.

What can you offer?

Concrete skills (languages, first aid, teaching, logistics, design) and the hours you can genuinely commit.

What reviewers of volunteer roles look for

  • State your availability precisely (days, hours, start date, duration); it is usually the first thing coordinators filter on.
  • Connect one past experience to the cause or the task, even an informal one.
  • Check costs before applying: some international placements charge a program fee, and the official page should say what it covers.
