How to apply to Yaddo Artist Residency

Step by step

Check that you are eligibleThe published rules: Open to creators and freelancers; Professional or promising emerging artists in literature, visual art, music composition, performance, film & video; not currently enrolled in a degree program; may apply once every other calendar year. International applicants welcome but no visa help.
Gather the materialsYou will need: Work samples, Academic CV, Personal statement / SOP.
Write the answersChoose work samples that relate to the project you propose; panels look for continuity.
Submit on the official pageApply through the official page (Slideroom) before 20 December 2026, and keep the confirmation.
Follow upNote when results are due. If the organiser invites questions, ask once, briefly, after the date has passed.
