Step by step

Check that you are eligibleThe published rules: Open to creators and freelancers; Age 18+; domestic and international applicants; project must be in English; not open to those who attended a Banff residency in the past year.
Gather the materialsYou will need: Academic CV, Cover letter, Project proposal, Work samples.
Write the answersChoose work samples that relate to the project you propose; panels look for continuity.
Submit on the official pageApply through the official page (Slideroom) before 9 December 2026, and keep the confirmation.
Follow upNote when results are due. If the organiser invites questions, ask once, briefly, after the date has passed.
